This unit covered what a lesson plan is, it's importance and some of the benefits it comes with. some of the important functions a lesson plan has are that: it is an aid to planning, a working document (serves as a guide during a lesson) and a record (helps a teacher to keep track of the lessons taught or material covered). The unit emphasized the need for a lesson plan to be flexible because a class has its own unanticipated activities or events such as students not answering a particular question within the right amount of time. The unit also covered the need for teachers to be prepared and organized before each lesson; preparing a document to help them improve their teaching skills as well as keep track attempting to plan a sequence of lessons with flexibility.
