The final unit exposes several potential problems teachers face within the classroom and how to handle each of them. For the first lessons, teachers give a chance for students to get to know each other through in-class activities (such as pass the ball game) and find out about students' English level and needs. Before introducing a topic to the class, teachers can incorporate warmers, such as hangman and memory games into the lesson. Warmers are useful to boost students' motivation and confidence in using English before teachers present a new topic to the class. Students with different levels of English may attend the same classroom. Thus, teachers need to make sure that the weaker students do not get intimidated by the strong ones. Other problems include teaching large classes, students using their native language in class, students unwilling or unmotivated to participate in activities, and difficulties listening to recordings and conversations. The unit gives suggestions on how to overcome each of these problems.
