It was extremely helpful to see these two videos of two different lessons, as they showed how important it is for the teacher to initiate each lesson with a positive attitude and how much of an impact it will make on the effectiveness of the lesson. The entire class' performance relates to how the content is presented. I identified several components and basic principles missing from the teacher's techniques in the first lesson, such as a strong engage phase and presentation of concepts. I was then able to see these missing components take place in the second lesson and learn how I can make my lessons as productive as possible for my students.
