In this unit two ESA demonstrations were shown from two different perspectives. The first one was totally counterproductive whereas the second one was really effective. It was interesting to see how much the teacher?s attitude, his gestures and even his voice influenced the rapport he could build with the students and how much it effected the student participation as well. It was made also clear that the appropriate instructions and explanations are crucial to a successful class and if these are presented in an enjoyable way the objective of the lesson will be definitely achieved, i.e. the students will understand and use the language appropriately.
