This time two contrasting videos filmed in an actual English language classroom are presented in order to highlight the differences between a successful and an unsuccessful English language lesson. The first video shows a grammar lesson where students appear to have trouble with the lesson content (modal auxiliary verbs). Students are in clear difficulty during the lesson and the teacher?s attitude, manner and teaching style are of no help. Also the lesson structure prooves boring and static. The second video shows the same teacher presenting the same lesson subject to the same English language students but in a totally different style. The atmosphere in the classroom is extremely different, the relationship between teacher and students (before absent) is now more than successful and a significant difference in the level of class understanding is visible.
