In this unit, I learned about teaching special groups. They are beginners, children, one-to-one/individual students, Business English/ESP learners and the monolingual and mutilingual class. For beginners, they have been categorized as absolute, false, young, adult and beginner without Roman alphabet. For me, it is very enjoyable and fun teaching beginners and children because there will be less demand of high English. I can make many simple lessons and I can monitor their progress easily. Teaching individual students requires hands-on lessons and activities especially in pronunciation. For Business English, this is very challenging as this type of learners requires the teacher to be specific, more knowledgeable and higher English lessons. for monolingual learners, teacher has to make a way to interest the students and this will create slow improvement in speaking English as they use their country's language unlike of the multiligual learners which will be obliged to speak in English.
