I think the horseshoe seating arrangement is the best setting. I have experienced it when I took many language courses as an adult. It is quite intimate and everyone is involved. Groups at tables is my least favorite - I do not like working in pairs so much - makes me uncomfortable but classes do become interesting even though it is long waiting for your turn to speak. I do like the way you focus on how the teacher should not shout. this also goes for parenting the more you shout the less children will respect you then the effect goes and you lose their respect. Smiling is also very important and makes a huge difference in the rapport between the teacher and students. Loving the job and caring about the students is key for the class to be a success. thank you!
