This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit was good review of phrasal verbs, something I haven't really studied in a few years. The hardest part about this lesson was trying to get back into the rhythm of speech you typically don't dissect in everyday life. I really appreciated all the examples given, especially the tables that went further into the definitions of modal auxiliary verbs and when they are used. The charts were all helpful, but I can tell that if I were to ever teach modals to students some more examples of how to teach and what works best for learners would be necessary. I wish the unit went a bit deeper into grammar, and the best ways to teach punctuation with commas.
