There are two productive skills that include speaking and writing. Again, both are equally important. Fluency and accuracy are very important to remember when engaging with the students. An example of an accuracy activity would be in a study phase. The student needs to focus on the phrase or vocabulary to be completely correct. An example of a fluency activity would be if the teacher introduced an interesting topic to get the students talking. Another thing to remember, is that writing is often one of the more difficult tasks for students that are trying to learn a foreign language. With speaking you are able to correct the errors on the spot, but with writing you can not. With writing, it needs to be accurate for understanding.
