This unit discussed materials that can be used to aid your teaching. It discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using authentic versus inauthentic materials. The unit pointed out some resources for where to find both types of materials, both in books as well as on the internet. It also covered how and why to make a lesson plan, and emphasised not to get too hung up on the plan to the detriment of adjusting to students' needs. Although this unit mostly covered topics that were already discussed in the general TEFL course, its suggestions were slightly more clear and practically oriented, and the resources provided seemed very useful.
