This was a long chapter on various important grammatical points. It was useful to learn about Modal Auxiliary Verbs, which was featured in the video lesson unit. The list of uses and examples in present/future as well as past tense made the lesson easy to understand, and put into perspective how many Modal Auxiliary Verbs there are. The Passive voice segment is one that I understood easily due to teach Japanese, as Japanese also features transitive and intransitive verbs. The Teaching Ideas was useful as it showed me a few good activities I may try out eventually. The Phrasal Verbs section was difficult to understand at first, but I appreciated the short examples as now I feel like I truly understand this more nuanced component of English grammar.
