This unit discussed the course materials used to motivate and engage the students during the lesson, including the usage of course books. I remember what my language textbooks were like in school and while they were put together well, it was better to have the teachers include more engaging activities than just looking and doing the ones inside the book. I also saw the state that English textbooks in other countries was by attending a class in Germany; the book was pretty outdated and was using language that most English speakers wouldn't use, especially younger ones. It was important to understand that books cna be helpful, but to also think outside the box in lesson plans.
