Unit 16 combines conditionals and reported speech. I found this unit a bit difficult and might divide them. We are introduced to 5 separate conditionals with some wonderful teaching ideas for each. Though they are similar, they each have their complexities and nuances that I am enlightened to and never knew the complications of since English is my native language. The reported & direct speech is of particular interest to me because as a society and on personal levels, having daily interactions with friends and family, co-workers and such, it is important to relay messages, and understand meanings and even deliver messages when need be. Even though the language is complicated, we have to find a way to familiarize the every-day talk.
