I am really content with the fact that teaching grammar is included in this lesson. When I was conduction a workshop training high school English teachers to improve English methodologies in their classroom, a major concern was how the teachers could also include grammar in their teachings. I used to think that it wouldn't be practical to include grammar structures into oral English, but now I can see I can use both grammar sentence structures as well as speaking topics in the class. Lastly, I really appreciate being able to see a full ESA lesson plan in action. I can understand how this practice may work, as I am currently using the PPP format in my classroom. Also, it is good to see the balance between TS and SS being meaningful and appropriate. I can use these examples to focus on allowing the TS and SS to be more meaningful in my class as well.
