In this unit I learned a great deal about teaching receptive skills to students and how important it is to make sure the material is interesting to all students involved and that they can understand the material. Not all students will be interesting in what you choose that day but it is important to vary the material through out the year to make sure you include topics that will be interesting to all students. Also I learned how important reading and listening skills are and how to best use those to the benefits of all the students strengths. But most important is choosing material that will motivate students and be understood by all.
