Unit 13 covers an important subject, which is often overlooked by many teachers, i.e. an English pronunciation. It focuses on explanation of the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) and its use in order to help students with understanding of the pronunciation. In addition, this unit also provides a video demonstrating a real English class that concentrates on practicing the pronunciation with utilization of the IPA. It is a good example of how I can teach this subject, which activities I can use to help my students with improving their pronunciation skills. At the end of the unit, it is written more in detail about articulation, its place and manner and how to teach techniques for the pronunciation of individual sounds.
