I am a lover of books, so this lesson was particularly interesting to me. The lesson reminded me that it is good for a teacher to be thoughtful of students when deciding what book to choose and what topics from the book would be most interesting and helpful for the students with an understanding of the average level of English proficiency that the students are currently at. They should analyze and consider many things about the text, such as price, availability, design, methodology, skills, difficulty, syllabus, topic, and teacher's materials. Typically, the teacher should consider subsidizing the book content with other materials that are suitable for a particular class.
