In this unit we have seen some practical tips and advices in order to make classes dynamic and less disruptive. Especially in courses where you do not have a group of students with similar levels, which is quite common if we teach English as TEFL teachers in public/private schools, were the groups are large. Thinks such as pair-work, constant tasks, giving the same materials but different tasks according to their levels are some things quite interesting to keep in mind when teaching in those type of groups. Nevertheless, I thought it would be interesting to deepen even more in the subject ?speaking the native language or not?, because, when a class tends to be disruptive and the teacher might not seem capable to understand them because he hasn?t control over their mother tongue, things might get complicated. So, I would have enjoyed some tips of how to control/manage large groups only using English as the reference language.
