This unit brings all the previous units together as you might need to adapt your teaching style/methods to accommodate your audience. The classroom experience will differ greatly between groups.
Personally I feel it is important for the teacher to tell the students what they will learn and why the need to learn it (depending on the class, this will typically not be beneficial for children or an absolute beginners group). If the students know why they are learning a certain part of English and understand its importance, they might be motivated even more to master it.
Yet, the teacher must be aware of the class group to determine what the students' capabilities are and adjust his/her approach accordingly.
