Unit 17 was about teaching aids and teaching equipment. The unit covered a large variety of different resources available to teachers to help enhance the classroom setting and to keep students focused and engaged in the lesson. The unit covered many things ranging from white/chalk boards and worksheets to DVD players and computers. After explaining the uses of many of these teaching aids the unit also provided different ways to incorporate them into a lesson and offered insight into where to find more resources through different things like websites and other organizations. My largest take away from this unit was just realizing all of the various things that can be used to make up a successful lesson and that it is good to research and use all of the tools available.
