This unit was extremely useful in teaching me the tips and techniques necessary to excel in the classroom. The devil is in the details and this unit gave me the best advice to deal with problems that arise in a classroom setting with learners of diverse needs and abilities. For instance, using the rapport building activities for the first lesson is very handy to know, as you need to build up a relationship with your class for them to truly engage and be enthusiastic for your lessons. Knowing what to do in large groups and the idea of placing weak students with stronger students was invaluable to know as this will maximise the learning experience and ensure no one is left behind.
