This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson helped me better understand the present tense by expanding on the basics to explain the present simple, continuous, perfect and perfect continuous. When I studied Greek in college I learned many different tenses. I did not remember, until this lesson, that there were twelve tenses in all in English. This will be a lesson I refer back to again and again. I currently teach ESL to Chinese students online and already this lesson is helping me to apply what I've learned in my teaching at least in theory. Explaining tenses to elementary school students in detail is not pragmatic but knowing this as the teacher helps me make better sense of my lesson plans.
