In this Unit I learned about the different types of materials and resources that can be used in order to teach Business English. It is important to find the perfect mix between authentic and non authentic material. The main advantage of the non authentic material is that it will be more user-friendly and easier for them to follow but mixing it with authentic scenarios will keep the students interested and happy for they are using realistic examples.
Lesson planning has to be taken very seriously for it is back bone of the lesson. It helps keep the aim of the lesson and will allow me to look back and see what I have taught in the class and when. It also helps keep track at each moment during the lesson monitor if we, the teachers are moving in the right direction.
