This section discussed how to use materials in the classroom. The chapter defined the advantages and disadvantages of using authentic and created resources. The chapter also provided a list of pros and cons concerning textbooks. While overseas, I had to use our limited resources to build lesson plans and had to create most of the materials for class, so I understood the pros and cons of authentic and created materials. Its also difficult to choose a good textbook because, as the coursework stated, books are often published by big companies and their work doesn't specify to one group of people. I identified with many points of this chapter.
