Unit 19 covered the topic of class types a teacher may face. I learned that there are several types of language classes that are dependent on the language level, and language purpose. i.e. There are classes for beginners, individual learners, children, and business purposes. What I feel sets Business English courses apart from the others is that Business English courses are typically for specific purposes and courses are geared to meet the demands of that company. Also, Business language course are less likely to have children/under age students.
Overall, I felt this course was an important one, for it gives me, as an aspiring ESL teacher, something to consider: Do I teach children or adults?...Should I teach ESP?...etc.
