This unit highlighted the possible advantages and disadvantages of teaching one to one lessons and group lessons. Not only was it useful to be made aware of potential problems, but the suggested solutions also helped me to see how I might combat certain issues. I was also shown ideal activities for practising reading, listening, speaking and writing skills and I now understand how important it is to create activities for practising these skills which mimic everyday interactions and circumstances. The various teaching methods also proved helpful and I saw how different techniques can be used to help different cases.
