In this unit I learned about productive skills speaking and writing. It covered accuracy and fluency, and ideas for each. Problems that may prevent learning were discussed such as peer intimidation and decreased interest. Ideas were given to encourage interaction such as dynamic planning and pair and group work. We also learned about writing skills, what problems can arise during writing, how most teachers don't spend enough time on writing and how creative writing activities can be used to improve writing skills. It also suggested practicing writing for different scenarios such as business writing or email.
