The issues can appeare any phase of the course and in any group. The teacher should always be prepared. If it ia a new group or first class try to warm-up. If it is a mixed-level group - pay the same attention to weaker and stronger. The lesson should be planed carefully concerning the level's of the students. Additional material is useful for students who finishes earlier. Constant control is needed for improving all the skills of each student.
As I know native language of my students, a good advice for me was to respond only for questions asked in English. It will encourage my pupils communicate in studying language.
