This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit goes over the 4 sub-tenses of the past tense: the past simple, the past continuous, the past perfect, and the past perfect continuous. Each sub-tense lists its forms in the affirmative, negative and question categories of sentences before going on to list when each sub-tense would be used. The unit also gives ideas for the activation stage of a lesson on each sub-tense along with some common errors and mistakes that students tend to make when learning each sub-tense. In my opinion, the past perfect continuous will probably be the most difficult to teach because it isn't a very commonly used form in normal English speech.
