In Unit 8 the future tenses are introduced, specifically the seven more common structures of Future Simple; Future Continuous; Future Perfect; Future Perfect Continuous; 'Going to' Future; Present Simple (with future meaning) and Present Continuous (with future meaning).
Future tense is a very complex area of English as it is very flexible and unrestricted as the Past Tense (already happened) or the Present Tense (happening at time of speaking).
In this unit I learned the Present Simple and Present Continuous can be regarded as future tenses as well in some cases. I also realised how much of the future tense deals with predictions (Future Simple, Future Continuous, and 'Going to' Future). Another interesting note for me was how the Future Continuous can be used for polite enquiries referring to other people's plans without influencing their intentions.
