This unit covered the importance of planning a flexible lesson that caters to the needs of the students. Although the focus is predominantly on the students, consideration is also given to the improvement of the teacher. At the end of the unit, Straight Arrow ESA lesson is provided as an example.
So far, one of the major things that I have struggled with is creating a lesson plan for students. Giving private lessons to individual students have also added to this difficulty because all of them have different needs and interests. At the moment, I do keep a record of new words and phrases through conversing with my students but not much has been done with reviewing them. I believe that being more purposefully constructive with my students' lessons will prove helpful for them in the long run.
