In this unit I was able to actualize some of the suggestions that began in unit 1. There were practical methods presented which allowed for different teaching and learning styles. I appreciate the wide variety of methods covered because it ensures an avoidance of boredom during learning, regardless of particular learning styles. I was also made aware of how important the Engage section of ESA is in capturing and retaining students attention. I am especially drawn to the Boomerang style lesson, as it allows the teacher to see what needs to be taught before the lesson begins, once again ensuring that all students are fully engaged and do not feel like they are drowning in material or wasting time with concepts they have previously learned.
