The first lesson is certainly unsatisfactory. First of all, the teacher seemed displeased the entire lesson, and he was very disrespectful to the students, especially when he could not understand them. Also, his use of a linguistic term along with a demeaning attitude made the students confused and demoralized. In addition, he was quite impatient, harassing students as they struggled to understand, the unprompted worksheet. Beyond those complaints, he also turned his back for prolonged periods of time, stomped, snapped, huffed, sighed, and generally exuded an air of unwarranted disdain.
In the second lesson, the teacher was much more polite and engaging. The most obvious remarks I would have are that his lesson should have invoked louder and prolonged bouts of students speaking, and the activate stage seemed quite short.
