Unit 14 is about the coursebooks and lesson materials. It differentiates the two types of materials in the classroom which are the authentic and the created materials by which both have advantages and disadvantages when they are used in the classroom. However, the most important thing is that the teacher should consider the student's level and interests of the students. The later part talks about how to determine a good coursebook and what to do to make it better in the classroom. I think this unit is useful in a way that it can help me decide what kind of material should I use for my students and how can I improve the coursebook relevant to my students' needs.
