In unit 19 I learned about teaching more specialized groups. Those groups include beginners, individual students, children, business English students, and multi- or monolingual classes. Each group requires the teacher to use different skills and psychology. Beginners and children need simpler language and more visual aids. Children need shorter activities and more entertainment. For individual students the teacher needs to make up for the loss of classroom dynamics, thus he needs to be more active. Business English students may require more course and lesson planning, and more formal documentation of the students' performance and attendance, etc, and in general the teacher needs to work harder to meet the company's professional expectations.
