This unit covered the specifics of how to manage a classroom. It focused on the different advantages and disadvantages of certain classroom setups, and covered the advantages and disadvantages of different types of classroom activities. Through my schooling I have experienced many of these different types of setups for the classroom and this section helped me consider exactly what classroom setup would work best for language teaching. While the traditional lecture style of classroom setup works for some types of learning, I think that other forms are better for teaching a foreign language. This helped my identify some of the ways I could organize a classroom to aid in student interaction during the lessons.
