This Unit provided very beneficial guidance for managing classrooms, particularly for someone who doesn't have any previous formal experience with classroom teaching. I believe some of the techniques (establishing rapport, for example) will simply require practice in order for me to feel comfortable, but knowledge about how to arrange a classroom and understanding the different types of group organizations, are very helpful to understand prior to being in an actual classroom. I personally found the instruction to err on the side of control, rather than creating a relaxed, friendly environment, with younger learners a particularly good thing to consider.
