This unit discussed testing and evaluating the English levels of your students. It gave reasons for why it might be important to test you students, not the least of which was that it is often required. It mentioned different types of tests that can be used in different moments of the course and different reasons to use these. It mentioned some things that are important when creating a test (like focussing on all four language skills rather than just writing or reading, like is still too often done in schools). The unit then mentioned some different external tests and why a student might wish to take these. The unit also mentioned the importance of getting feedback from the students about the course.
