This unit discusses the different methods for teaching a new language to students. It discusses the important areas of a language that need to be taught simultaneously for effective learning. These areas included: teaching new vocabulary, grammar and function. While discussing each section it included examples of activities that would be helpful for the different phases of each lesson. I have personally benefited from learning the different activities that would be better suited for each stage of the lessons. These activities will help me to make a more interesting and engaging lesson for my students.
