This unit is a continuation of the tenses and explores the past tenses. I found it confusing at times as it can be confusing to keep the very minor differences clear in one's mind. I appreciated the video as that made a big difference for me. I also found that referring back to the initial lesson on the tenses helped me. I discovered that writing out examples of the present tenses and their 'past' counterparts helped me understand the overall lesson. I do believe that I will have to go over these particular lessons a few times until they are firmly lodged in my mind, however. It is not that it is difficult, for it is not. It is just that it is a lot of the same or similar language being memorized with only a small degree of change between each item. I hope that makes sense. I want this part of grammar to come as easily to me as discussing my love for animals and that may take a little while.
