Being able to see the difference of a good teacher versus a bad teacher is very helpful. You really need to engage in the students first. Although the first video was an extreme version of a bad teacher, I can still see how some teachers can easily make similar mistakes from the first video. I would think it is very difficult to plan a lesson let alone engage them. Smiling, staying positive, and speaking slowly goes a long way. Video two helps to show that being welcoming is very important. Correcting mistakes can be done in a nice way. I really liked watching the second video. I can imagine how bored and confused I would be if I had to be in a class with a teacher from video 1.
