Classroom management is comprised of 4 things: 1) the teacher's physical presence, 2) the student' physical presence, 3) the relationship between teacher and students, and 4) how to handle disruptive influences. The teacher's physical presence can deal with everything from eye contact to position in the room. The student's physical presence deals with the amount of talk time and activities and classroom organization to manage student talk time. Classroom management also deals with the rapport between teacher and students and between students and students. Lastly, behavior problems and disruptions can affect teaching success so preventing and responding to behavior problems is essential to classroom management.
