This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
In this unit I learned about different materials that can be used by teacher during the lesson. They are materials and coursebooks. Materials can be devided into two types: authentical materials (anything that native speaker can see, read or hear, not designed for ESL students) and created materials (made, found or prepeared by teachers for their students). There are advantages and disadvantages of using extra-materials in the class, but still they can always make a lesson more interesting for the students and more productive for the teachers. Using a coursebook is optional, but I think it can help to structure the course and make a certain plan for each level that is taught. Choosing a coursebook might be hard, but teachers should always remember that course book is kind of base and they don't have to follow it all, we can always omit, replace, supplement or adapt information that is given there.
