Unit 13 has taught me a lot about pronunciation and phonology, intonation in volume and pitch by making noises, gestures, humming/singing drawing pitch marks on the board. I also learned about where to put the stresses in words. The different techniques for teaching stress for example contrastive street, gesture, choral work, the board and stress marks. I also learned about the 4 major ways that sounds join together in English. Linking, sound dropping, sound changing, and extra lettering. This unit also taught me about articulation on how to saw certain works by use of the manner and place of articulation chart.
