This unit is about teaching phonology and pronunciation. Many teachers might think that pronunciation is not the most important part of their job. In my opinion it is important to teach the students how to read transcriptions from phonoligy. It is important in order to let the students be able to learn pronunciation of new vocabulary without necessary being around teachers all the time. Teaching intonation is also important, as it plays major role in the message that each sentense delivers. One sentense or phrase can ean different things depending on how it is pronounced. Therefore, it must be taught at language schools.
