Teachers have to make sure to go over whatever material they bring to the class. This unit showed the value of having created material as well as authentic material. The created material is beneficial because it allows the teacher to have things that is suited for each class that one is teaching. Created material is also better for beginners so that there's no confusing or high level words in it. Authentic material is good because it's what the students will encounter in the real world and the teacher doesn't have to invent it. I learnt that using both is best so that I can add interest and variety in the classroom.
