Going through this unit I intentionally took more time to observe the techniques my teachers of Thai language are using and tried to identify it with material in this lesson. I also traveled back in time into times when I studied English language to remembered all mentioned techniques were used by my teachers and to find out that most of scholar books are being structured in ESA lesson model. As a student of foreign languages I see great importance of the teacher being speaking student's native language. Also I have been studying Thai language according to audio-lingualism method and I am very happy with this method as I learned full sentences and when it came to grammar explanation I could immediately figure out the rules. I would say this method is very good for students but might be boring for the teachers as it does not allow them too much to be creative. It is nice to be able to understand the methodology of teaching and I really enjoyed this unit.
