Luckily I have enjoyed this unit, I didn?t perform so well in Unit 3, but alas, it at least shows where I need to focus my attention.
I spent quite a while reviewing this unit since when I was a child we didn?t really learn grammar in this way, but it certainly does seem to make sense and I also would strongly disagree with the linguists on this one in relation to the tenses, but also feel that this area is intimidating, even for myself, a native speaker of English.
I will be looking forward to see how I progress throughout this course because already I feel I am gaining knowledge, and having to think back to things I?ve not really looked at for a long time is beneficial.
