This section Focused on teaching speaking and writing skills to students. Though the format for the lesson plan is similar to teaching receptive skills, the techniques taught are completely different due to the fact that they are different skills. When teaching speaking and writing I believe working in the study phase for longer periods of time would be beneficial. In the study phase/activity the students will be given the most opportunity to learn accuracy in the language. My belief is that the more accurate a student can be, then the more fluent they will be able to become. Worksheets for example, would be a go to for myself in my classroom. Setting up cartoons in situations and giving the student the opportunity to write in the speech bubble and at the bottom of what the scene would be beneficial.
