In this unit, common problems and situations that could potentially happen while teaching were covered. This was useful for me as when planning classes I often try and picture the worst case scenario and work to have back-ups in case the class is too short, too long etc. Right now, for me the new school year has just begun so having the topic of first lessons has been particularly useful and I learned a lot about potential ice-breaker games and how to buils rapport with students and how students can get to know each other too.
How to deal with classes with different level has been a constant worry of mine, but having the different routes to take has given me a lot of ideas on how to help the weaker students and also how to keep the high level students engaged.
